You can skip the creation of an initial drive when loading the snap-in. This works by setting a variable called 'InitializeDefaultBTSDrive' before loading the snap in:

$InitializeDefaultBTSDrive = $false
Add-PSSnapin BizTalkFactory.Powershell.Extensions

The variable now works in the opposite way. Setting it to false will NOT skip the default drive while setting it to true WILL skip the default drive.
